This series, entitled Deconstructing Kandinsky, is comprised of a rendition of Kandinsky's Composition VIII, but with color only in the background. The "Blow Ups" are parts of the painting made larger on gridded paper. The other parts of the series also refer to Kandinsky's painting. Shown here in a gallery.
All the images in the Boyne/Trim series are about the Boyne River, which runs through Trim, Ireland. This large drawing was the first in the Boyne/Trim Series

Rooster on the Farm Series
I started this series when I found a little English pitcher with a rooster on it. Making a realistic representation of a stylized image interested me. The context of a particular image interests me a lot also.

Activation Series
Activation of Blue.
This series is one I started during Covid. Only the blue in the objects I used for this still live is activated. All the other colors are repressed and drawn in graphite.

There is a little stylized drawing in Activation of Blue, above. This is another version, much larger of the same landscape.
